Continuous measurements of temperature, electrical conductivity (salinity), pressure, oxygen concentration, fluorescence, light attenuation, and irradiance were taken in the water column. Measurements from these probes were calibrated for dissolve oxygen concentration (Winkler chemical titration), fluorescence (chlorophyll-a concentration), and salinity (Guildline 8410A salinometer) from discrete water samples taken at the different stations. Transmissivity was normalized to 100%, and irradiance measurements were corrected according to the reference irradiance measured at the surface.
